Our Events

Hosted by Murrindindi Winemakers

Wine is a great cultural drink bringing people together. For generations, wine regions across the world have been celebrating the end of harvest, new vintage releases and any other special occasion. In fact, winemakers are very innovative when it comes to finding excuses to celebrate their viticultural skills! So, join the Murrindindi Winemakers for their next event.

Murrindindi Wine Weekend 5th – 6th May

Now in its third year, Murrindindi Winemakers are opening their cellar doors on the first weekend in May to celebrate locally grown and made wines. Discover the hidden vineyards in the Acheron and Yea Valleys and meet your local vignerons who have just harvested their 2018 vintage.

“The Murrindindi Wine Weekend is a great opportunity to shine a spotlight on our local wine heroes. Murrindindi wines are proof that the old saying ‘winemaking starts in the vineyard’ is true”, said Sonja Herges, chair of Murrindindi Winemakers.

“This year seven local wineries across Murrindindi are joining the celebrations on 5th – 6th May 2018. Take in the amazing landscapes on your winery tour and enjoy the experience of a wine tasting with the makers.”

There is a lot on offer over the weekend. Tastings of many different wine varieties and styles, live music and food, of course, from light lunch to banquet-style feasts.
